Mark Edward Fischbach, known online as Markiplier, is an American YouTuber, podcast host, and filmmaker. He began his YouTube career in 2012 and has since become one of the platform's most successful creators, known for his gaming content, sketch comedy, and charity work. Markiplier is particularly known for his Let's Play videos, especially in the horror genre, and his distinctive deep voice and animated commentary style. Beyond gaming, he has expanded into other forms of entertainment, including acting, voice acting, and producing. In 2022, he co-created and starred in the interactive series "In Space with Markiplier" and launched the podcast "Distractible" with friends Wade Barnes and Bob Muyskens.
